MailAway made it happen for us.  Anna really did make the whole thing easy, even fun and enabled us to get email marketing underway.

 

Outdoor adventure organise activity holidays for groups heading to Cornwall; families, friends and schools can all get involved.

Emails are a great way for Outdoor Adventure to stay in touch with everyone.

The challenge

We have four distinct target markets; surf school, family holidays, adult holidays and school trips. The website amalgamates all the sectors but we were looking at ways to talk to them differently.

Concentrating first on our family holiday customers, we wanted a way to remind them we are here during the shoulder months, when they’re likely to be thinking about booking. I knew that email marketing could be massively beneficial but using self service programmes can be problematic and time consuming, so I pushed this very important aspect of marketing to the back because of not having the time or confidence to set it up.

The MailAway solution

MailAway was recommended to us and email marketing was something I know I should have been doing years ago, but I was stopped by not knowing where on earth to start. MailAway made it happen for us, Anna really did make the whole thing easy, even fun and enabled us to get e-mail marketing underway. We spoke on the phone, at length about the first campaign and the software until we were both eventually happy to send.

The results

Our first email landed and we got a great response from it. I've now got the confidence to move forward with plans for the future and get into targeting all the different groups of customers.

There's so much more I want to do with MailAway and I'm sure it's really going to support the growth of the company. I only wish I started using it earlier!
