Different to the campaigns you might usually be setting up (newsletters and postcard emails, for example) and sending to a whole list of subscribers at once, automated emails can be set up to send to individuals once they have performed a certain action. You specify what will trigger the automatic email, and MailAway does the rest of the work for you.

Setting up an automated email is free, you’ll then only need to pay the ongoing costs of one credit per email sent (PAYG rate 2p per message). You can buy credits through the system when you set the automated email live.

Want to try it out?
Click the ‘Automation’ tab in your account, then click the green button to create your first journey. The aim of the game at this stage is to set the criteria that, when met by your users, triggers an automatic email. Choose which of the four triggers you’d like to set up, and simply name the journey and choose a subscriber list to apply it to.
Sending these kinds of emails means you can connect with your subscribers in a more timely fashion, with content that is relevant to them and the action they’ve just taken. It’s another opportunity to build upon the relationships you’ve worked hard to grow, every day, without having to lift a finger.
